Welcome to the Family!
We are very pleased that you have shown interest in becoming a member of Greater Mt Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church. All New Members are required to attend at least one (1) new member orientation class, which is held in the fellowship hall from 9:45 a.m.-10:30 a.m. each 4th Sunday morning (location and time may change). This ministry familiarizes new members with church auxiliaries, offices and the Primitive Baptist doctrine.

Candidate for Baptism
If you have not professed that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and have not been baptized, then you will seek membership as a Candidate for Baptism.
Christian Experience
Have you already professed your faith in Christ but are not consistently part of a church? Your path to church membership will be through Christian experience.
By Letter
Have you professed Christ as Lord and Savior, been baptized and are part of another church but wish to transfer your membership? Then you will seek membership by way of letter. We ask that you contact your church home and encourage them to send a letter expressing that you are a member in good standing. If you need help in figuring this out please contact the church office.
